It's amazing how the media turned on the EDL and earned them such a bad name, when the vast majority of the population support the aims of the EDL which is simply to stop the spread of Islam in the UK.

The media always attributed the violence that erupted at the EDL meetings to the EDL.

Yet when the police stopped the oddly named UAF who appear to be fascists themselves, from confronting the EDL then the violence didn't happen.

Once again the general public have been taken for suckers by the media.

The problem lies not in the % but in the nature of that percentage.
If we accept the 1% figure(I don`t) then that is a very large no of people.

But you say there are 99% peaceful, ok, but when 1% are prepared to cause widespread death using means as barbaric and insane as ever witnessed then we have a very major problem

It is not the size but the nature of that 1% that is something not encountered and is so frightening.
