Are we talking about the berlin blockade and if we are of course we flew the goods into West Berlin which was in the heart of East Germany !

Also bombs tend to be dropped a bit differently these days from much further up and away and if there are hostiles on the ground who have a decent ground to air missile then you wouldn't be parachuting stuff down from low level like Ethiopia etc.

* when I was in the army we had a six hour pass to enter east berlin via checkpoint charlie,all I can say is what a experience.We were followed all the time,went to the "muscovite hotel" for a slap up 6 course meal with and I kid you not a violinist in the khazi !
