Agreed.

This story like many is being hidden.

1000 (one thousand) foreign men were organised to descend on a public place and carry out horrific crimes.

Germany hasn't seen an invasion like this since 1945.

Just five arrests have been made by German police after central Cologne was transformed into a war-zone on New Year’s Eve, as an estimated 1,000 migrants celebrated by launching fireworks into crowds and sexually assaulting German women caught up in the chaos.

The sordid details of the horrifying sexual assaults and attacks made against ordinary Germans by large gangs of migrants in Cologne in the early hours of Friday morning are just now emerging.

Far from a small number of sex assaults reported to have been made by German speaking men in initial reports on New Year’s Day, dozens of women are now reported to have been molested and “raped”, while dozens more men have been assaulted and robbed.

One victim, 28 year old ‘Katja L’ spoke of her ordeal as she tried to make her way to the waiting room of Cologne railway station with two other girls and a boyfriend in the early hours of new year’s day. She told Der Express – one of the largest regional newspapers: “When we came out of the station, we were very surprised by the group that met us there”. She said the group was “exclusively young foreign men”. Keeping close to her friends, they pressed on:

“We then walked through this group of men. There was an alley through [the men] which we walked through. Suddenly I felt a hand on my buttocks, then on my breasts, in the end, I was groped everywhere. It was a nightmare. Although we shouted and beat them, the guys did not stop. I was desperate and think I was touched around 100 times in the 200 meters.

“Fortunately I wore a jacket and trousers. a skirt would probably have been torn away from me”.

As Katja L and other witnesses who have since come forward said, as they were molested by the gang the men were laughing and pulling their hair, and there were shouts of “ficki, ficki” (****y ****y) hurled at them as they were called “sluts”. Treating her as “fair game”, there had been so many men groping at her Katja L said she would be unable to positively identify any of the perpetrators to the police.

Others were less lucky. One woman had her tights and underwear torn off by the crowd, and a police source quoted said there had been “rapes” at the station that night.

So far, police have identified 80 victims of the gangs, 35 of which were subjected to sex attacks. Others were assaulted or robbed. Officers suspect there are many more as of yet unreported cases from the night, and are appealing for victims to come forward after their ordeals.

A press conference hosted by Cologne’s chief of police Wolfgang Albers this afternoon confirmed the attacks had been perpetrated by migrants, all of whom were found to be carrying official immigration paperwork by police officers at the time. Mr. Albers said “the crimes have been committed by a group of people who mostly come from her in appearance from the North African and Arab countries”, and that he found the situation “intolerable”.

In addition to the sex attacks, there were several brawls between migrant gangs at the railway station, and large numbers of fireworks were fired into the crowds and at the hapless police. A witness said: “There were thousands of men. Simply firing into the crowd, and as my girlfriend and I wanted to get us to safety, but they blocked our way. We were so scared! We fled from the station”.

Despite dozens of men and women having been attacked, the area being comprehensively monitored by CCTV, and having thousands of potential suspects, Cologne police have arrested just five men so far in relation to the new year’s eve attacks.

The police chief may yet have serious questions to answer on the attacks, which follow a year of record breaking migration, after it emerged that just ten officers were dispatched to the station after the report of a gang sex assault in the early hours of the morning, and unverified accusations started to circulate on-line of officers even ridiculing a victim for not having been vigilant enough to avoid being attacked. Breitbart London has approached Cologne police for comment.

The police union said of the incidents: “This is a completely new dimension of violence. This is something we have not known”.

Before the New Year some German towns cancelled fireworks displays for fear of upsetting migrants who would associate the loud noises with the sounds of a war zone.

Not for much longer thanks to Merkel, two things are happening  first the demographic of the city has been changed, and secondly those people who once supported liberal ideals will be alarmed and disgusted by the backward and dangerous attitudes of muslims

The great European experiment is falling down wherever you look.

Schengen has been, de facto, completely revoked. The open door policy to all 'migrants' (with seemingly zero regard for who these people are and what their intentions are) has backfired (as it was always going to) in the space of a few months and the next step will be the rise of the Fascist Right again as happened in France, where Le Pen's Nationalists were only defeated in the Election through a hastily cobbled together pact by liberal / left wing parties.

Meanwhile, Britain's utterly pragmatic, 'help refugees / migrants at the initial point of contact' (where we have spent £1.4bn to date providing humanitarian relief at the point where it is needed most) was criticised as being less-than-humane, in comparison with Merkels 'teenager when the parents are away for the weekend' attitude to her country's security and humanitarian obligations.

On another note there is something a bit weird about this. Munich had two railway stations closed down on terror alerts on New Year's Eve but down the road in Cologne and elsewhere a group of up to 1000 "Arab and North African" men are able to run riot around the train station, setting off fireworks and there seems to have been insufficient police presence and no arrests were made...Confused

Just pointing out that Cologne and Munich are very different cities in terms of politics, general attitude and proximity to the migrants' entry point. You're the one who found their differing reactions "weird". I was just guessing at an explanation.

German states have a lot of autonomy, and Bavaria sometimes feels like a different country.

Never mind Merkel breaking up the EU over this, she's not doing the cohesion of the Federal Republic itself much good either.

It wasn't just Cologne either. In Hamburg, at the opposite end of the country from Munich:

Frauen suchten Schutz beim Türsteher

Reeperbahn: In der Silvesternacht wurden zahlreiche Frauen und Mädchen von jungen Männern umringt, begrapscht und oftmals beklaut. Die Opfer flüchteten in die Clubs.

It of course can not simply be treated as a law and order issue, it goes to the heart of what Germany has managed to build as a nation since WW2.

My point was more superficial in that one has consistently seen images of migrants destroying property around Europe, flouting immigration laws and generally behaving with an exaggerated sense of entitlement because,  well, they are refugees / asylum seekers / migrants etc and being given carte blanche to do so, irrespective of the fact there are tried and tested international laws, signed up to by all nations, governing the completely humane treatment of people in such a situation.

In light of the Cologne sexual assaults, perhaps now some due process of law and order can take place, finally.

I do agree with your overarching point however.

Hmmm.... in the wake of recent events and having received specific intelligence from both the USA and France that there was a threat to the rail network in the country, I humbly suggest that a bit of extra vigilance would have been a minimal requirement at all major train stations.

However, somehow, it seems apparent that a group of up to 1,000 young men ran amok, including mass sexual assault and the setting off of fireworks, without raising the eyebrows of the authorities who didn't seem to notice.Plain

As you know I am always intrigued by the presentation of news. Take SKYISLAM news.  They are forensically picking over corbyn and the shadow cabinet.
They have done a long rambling forensic examination of daesh new technology advances to scare us more yet the report on cologne is a bland quick minute or so with no mention of muslim gangs etc, just a very quick second about arab/african looking men.  Also included a german minister trying to play it all down.

Another slant.  Skyislam has now done two long reports on daesh in two days. I smell something very political about this.  They are concentrating on daesh as the EVIL one. Softening us up for when they get rid of them and then claim the 'MODERATE' rebels are just the job to take over in syria!!!  Just a thought.
Don't they think other groups aren't up to similar experimental technology etc.  But it is ONLY daesh that are doing it??   Obviously much more to this then is superficially shown to us.

ps  the german police won't intervene in the sexual assaults on women - first of all a german minister has implied that women are ASKING FOR IT by going out and about.
Secondly it might offend or upset the locals (muslims ha ha)  and loud bangs (sorry about the pun) would also upset them too.

I'm with you mobo regarding the presentation of the news (and even the presentation of the presentation of the news if we want to get really @n@l about the whole thing).

Like Joe Strummer taught me - Question Everything!

So for example, the much derided BBC News reports 'that the men involved were of Arab or North African appearance'. (I know! this from the bastion of 'luvviedom'!)

Yet go to examiner.com and you get right into Donald Trump territory with reports stating:

This horrifying epidemic of rape and sexual assault across Europe is getting worse, as rapes have skyrocketed in England, Sweden and Norway after they took in large numbers of Muslim refugees and migrants from the Middle East and North Africa. Under sharia law, it's OK to rape any non-Muslim woman because they are "infidels."

Rapes in Sweden and Norway — two of the most feminist and gender-equal countries in the world — have soared in recent years as their Muslim refugee and migrant populations have mushroomed.

Sweden, which once boasted extremely low instances of rape, is now considered the "rape capital of the West." Gang rapes in Sweden have soared between 1995 and 2006, and culprits in most cases were immigrants from Muslim countries.

All my emphasis, but just watch out for agenda peddaling from whatever your source.

Angela Merkel to receive prestigious Four Freedoms Award

THE HAGUE, Netherlands (AP) — German Chancellor Angela Merkel has been named as this year's recipient of a prestigious international award, with organizers lauding her "great moral leadership" in Germany and pivotal role in tackling the crises buffeting Europe.

The Dutch-based Roosevelt Foundation says Merkel will receive the International Four Freedoms Medal at a ceremony in April. In a statement announcing the award Wednesday, the foundation praised Merkel for her role in the European financial and migrant crises, for leading efforts to bring peace to conflict-torn Ukraine and for showing "great moral leadership as chancellor of all Germans regardless of faith and ethnicity."

Previous winners of the award include U.S. Presidents Harry S. Truman and John F. Kennedy, South African leader Nelson Mandela and former United Nations Secretary-General Kofi Annan.

More to the point is why doesn't the majority of Germany's supposed peace-loving muslims do something to stop their extremist brethren from giving them all a bad name?  The reason, of course, is that they condone such actions, loyalty to their cancerous faith must be put first and foremost and everyone else can go to Hell.
