It's all on the red button isn't it?

ive had it about 4 weeks.........keep getting the red button but ive twice managed to get teletext ..........the trouble don't know how I got it...........mrs asked currys how to get it.......look in the manual that come with it........doesn't mention teletext in the book

If you are viewing your tv via a sky box/freeview box then your tv controller is obsolete apart from volume and turning it off.

I like the shakey remote control that came with my LV Smart TV.

Mine just said function not available now

if its playing up sounds like it might be time to get a new tv

Isn't text only available on BBC1?
And that doesn't include BBC1 HD.

Why would you need teletext....what for?

UK news, regional news, sports results, stock markets, share prices.

Just go on BBC website.....it's got pictures too.

I've an LG TV (which I recommend, I've tried various), the remote has a "text" button right there on it. Works on freeview.

Try it on a channel you know has text, like bbc 1, branded as red button but it's text. Through sky it may be different as text is sent kind of side encoded with the picture. And it only works on some channels.

I was using the text the other day on BBC as computer was off, I'd forgot to check weather forecast and I was running out door.
