Talking Pictures TV, freeview channel 81 and Sky 343
A great TV channel described as 'An independent archive film and television channel'. A great selection of old films (I think they're mostly British), plenty of BFI and Childrens Film Foundation classics. Having recently started to buy these type of films on collection DVD's this channel has been a great find.

I don't have a tv at the moment,but when I do I will definitely look at this channel. I have gone to the website and it looks interesting. I hope there will be some robert donat films and other MEN like there used to be , not like today!

The channel itself is not in HD, it's standard definition, but you need a HD tuner. I don't know why.

Some nice diverting stuff, as you say - better than the dross on offer elsewhere.
Also as you say, the forum is now a tough place to use. Every thread hijacked by the same people with the same agenda.

As Afterthought astutely points out the conventional physical postures adopted during prayers in the Mosque lead one to have a close up view of the protruding posterior of the supplicant in front.
Not surprising really that they segregate the women from this particular form of prayer
given the manifest scope for distraction and fornicatory thoughts.

I can't get freeview - VM cable don't have the same channels as freeview. It looks like freeview has a better selection of channels than the basic VM TV package.
There are now six Freeview channels dedicated to showing films all day. And many more screening films as well.
I going to record Albert RN on this channel.

C131 is BBC Parliament.
