You mean Russia has 50K troops in Afganistan now?

or do you mean Syria xmoneyx?

I wish the Russians would end the civil war in Syria

it is causing an appalling loss of lifeSad

and causing Muslim refugees to come to Europe, including here!

Russia had 50k troops afghan 1980s and lost

I see xmoneyx, they did lose, we supported the rebels, who we defined as Freedom Fighters, and were considered good.

These same Freedom Fighters are now defined as Muslim extremists and terrorists, so are now considered bad.

I hope the Russians have better luck in Syria, because I don't think we are about serious about fighting ISIS

despite all the words

They are for use against Armour, not sure ISIS have tanks, they cost £175,000 eachShocked

With our current economic deficit we cannot really afford to fire them
Report ebulGery • December 27, 2015 1:52 AM GMT
They can take out more than one tank at a time, so a bit better value

Still a bit pricier than the old bazooka I feel

Ebul. ISIS gained a lot of top-class armour when they first confronted the Iraqi army who ran away and failed to destroy their weapons and ammunition.

Don't know how much of it has been lost/replaced since.

Russia were doing awfully well until the us armed the mujahideen
Report Dr Crippen • December 27, 2015 12:13 PM GMT
That's true that is DStyle.

The USA supplied the Mujahideen with the Stinger missile, and the Russians pulled out because they were losing too many aircraft to it.

The Russians have nukes as well....so not really money tree

I would doubt Israel want nukes going off their border either...they would not want one hitting them
