Johnny Kingdom sadly unavailable this year, but we'll all remember him for his career highlight at Christmas 2016.
Taunton rather missing the point this year by getting someone worthy and dignified to switch on the lights - 97-year-old Jim Booth, the D-Day frogman who survived an attack with a claw hammer by a burglar last year. https://www.somersetcountygazette.co.uk/news/17240993.jim-booth-to-switch-on-tauntons-christmas-lights/ Never mind. He was assisted by "the cast of the Wizard of Oz, who are performing at the Brewhouse Theatre from December 7 until December 30". Which is how these things should be done. |
