Tonight.
I caught advance notice of this an hour or so ago but don't know whether it's a repeat of the Jeff Lynne concert from a few months ago or a new one.
Whichever it is, it will definitely be worth tuning into if you like Jeff's music.

Thank you TT.
If I can be serious for a moment, I was delighted to see quite a few of JL's songs making it into the film 'American Hustle' a year or two ago.
I wasn't familiar with these two pieces at the time but if memory serves me, they formed the soundtrack as the end credits went up.
'Stream of Stars"

"Long Black Road" (ELO)

The soundtrack also has '10538 Overture" and possibly one other piece.
The film's pretty decent too. Lots of black humour and nice scenes. And Amy Adams.

He is back on tour next year, top price over £90 !!!
I say that because I remember he was standing on his favourite carpet in the last concert - but he's not at the moment.
Definitely a new concert - and live (at the moment).
Jeff Lynne comes across as such a nice bloke every time you see/hear him.
No 'Billy Big Time' nonsense about him whatsoever.

I looked at the tickets first thing this morning.
I was an ELO fanatic back in the day .......but if he thinks he getting over a ton for the best seats of me ......disgraceful prices.

Seats a bit on the expensive side, I'm guessing its a big show
A New World Record was the first album I bought , a work of genius.
Never, ever stop smiling whenever I hear this!
Just must be one of the best records ever made.

I have 4 copies of Mr Blue Sky single , 3 blue , 1 black copy.
they are brilliant records but as a live show its not doing much for me
It wasn't as good as the previous Jeff Lynne concert from earlier this year (where he stood on his favourite carpet) but I still enjoyed it very much.
Far better tv than most of the dross that's on usually.

Live interview with Jeff after the concert on Radio 2 now.
Wasn't on for long - but Nilsson will be pleased to know they've followed it up with Tom Petty's 'Free Fallin''!
