A train station.  Am I right, and why the change?

What other things have changed their name in the rush to be cool?

Cab used to be taxi
Cinema was pictures
Magazine was a comic
TV was a television
**** was, well, a ****(cat)

In over 50 years it's always been a train station to me and a cab has always been a cab. I agree with pictures and a comic is for kids, a magazine for adults Confused and a TV always was and will remain a TV imo
