It reminds me of some aspects of macarthyism and even gestapo tactics - it is relentless

ironic this, and probably explains why places like the uk will continue to decay and will ultimately collapse into an inescapable show trial existence, be it political correctness, socialist, islamic, tribal, or some other group think based ideology.
the obvious example to use was the show trial, re-education, memory hole etc mechanism of communist regimes, the irony being that mccarthy (who was anti communist) was/is greatly mythologised by the left as being some powerful demon, so that while the communism was shipping tens of thousands of political dissenter to their deaths, this myth allowed them to claim the place of the victim. much as islam does today.
In reality mccarthy was more like a farage than a stalin, demonised and attacked from day one, he had little meaningful effect on soviet infiltration (which recently released kremlin records confirm was widespread).and he was hounded out in 4 or 5 years. if he were the lowest level soviet apparatchik he would have been sent to the gulag for failing to meet minimum productivity.

This is a minimal religious 'channel' on you tube. There have only been 10,000 views. The bloke was almost certainly talked into giving such a pointless interview.
Some religions are very insistent that their followers treat their religion as THE absolute be all and end all, that everyone who has a different one is terribly wrong, that lives should be devoted to the only God(s).
Unfortunately, some followers adhere to this indoctrination.
Religious leaders have so much to answer for, but having lots of followers/payers/fanatics must be a thrill for them.
So much misery and poverty everywhere is sending the planet back 400 years.
I think a lot of the religious stuff going on in the world is being used by governments to deflect from loads of other issues.
Most of all what I REALLY don't understand is:
If God or Allah or Buddha of whichever deity is in question is SO all-powerful and all-knowing and all-forgiving...... why do people have to praise, pray, beg and grovel to them?
Why are churches, mosques, synagogues and temples necessary?

the islamic ideology is one of total control over their lives - we must understand this and there is no stepping outside of what this quasi political/religion dictates.
