I used to use windows 3.1 - when loading it into a pc i used 4 floppy discs for DOS. then 10 discs for windows. a total of 20mb. you could go on the internet and it was working all be it at a crawl.

windows 95 came in and it was on a cd. 700mb?

the stability seems to have gone down the shute. I equate it to and upside down pyramid.

cannot say any later versions have really impressed me - the level of frustration has increased.

if Karma really existed Microsoft headquarters would explode every day with the psychic energy being targetted towards them.

what is a kernel?

Windows 3.1 is far less stable than e.g. Windows 7! There is no comparison.

Betfair run their servers on Windows 3.1, that's common knowledge.

They have to employ a temp to move the mouse every so often or the flying toasters screensaver comes on and crashes everything, but he's often sidetracked watching the football on Sky on a saturday afternoon.

Android OS is what Windows should be

But it's not anywhere near it.

Bill Gates and your followers, hang your heads in shame.

Windows 7 on my laptop is more than a match for apples offering on my imac

However, Bill Gates should be shot purely  for the decline of Microsoft office

Android, are you kidding me.
I looked forward to getting my first android devices, what a disappontment, what I got was flakey, obvious bugs, and a bit cr*p. I refuse to "subcribe" to office and get by with open office, does what I need.

Android is by far the best operating system for phones. Just takes a few days to get used to
