From the promos of the film coming to cinemas Steve looks like the second coming? claims greatest innovation of the twentieth century?
I watched 'triumph of the Nerds in the nineties' a documentary about how the PC came about. Fantastic documentary. it is on youtube. It shows the colossol mistake IBM made with Bill gates. $2000 cost IBM billions. They also tell you that Steve and his partner in apple went along to Sun Systems and Xerox where they saw a demonstration of the mouse and the GUI(graphic user interface - icons). So what was the innovation Apple made? what was their contribution? they used other peoples ideas. The ipod is apple's take on a japanese invention called the mp3 player. the iphone - or mobile phone was invented by motorola. Saying all this means nothing. Apple just coined in 53 billion this year in profit. They can buy Motorola,sun systems and xerox? They own history. the re-writing has begun. good salesmen.

The film was rubbish and the reception was worse.
Only one small bar in the corner, it didn't last as long as expected and it was difficult to hear what people were saying ....
