why does it take them three years to make a sequel. Why not do what they do in the comic books. Have different casts do different versions. Amazing Spiderman with the guy they use now. Spectacular spiderman with someone new and web of spiderman with some other guy. that way they could have one a year. Cycle through the titles.

they've done it with the x-men. they have the sixties team. the upto date team and wolverine.

alternatively do remakes of the invaders(roy thinnes as architect david vincent) - is he still an architect?
or of iron side and bannacek.
