Something that's bugging me about his plans for housing though. Particularly with stopping builders of new developments having to provide affordable housing. Maybe someone here can shed some light.

I agree that able bodied people should work and strive towards a better life and home ownership.

What happens in the future however to the genuine disabled who cannot work but desire some independence and their own home?  With the ever dwindling number of social homes available due to these plans, what chance have they got? Are the tories going to let them pay for a starter home with their housing benefit? Like fairycakes they will. I can't see anyway out for them in the future. Cant get a social home and unable to afford a starter home.

Cameron needs to set out how these vulnerable cases will be dealt with, or he could be heading towards human rights violations.

Id never watch his speech because he is a maggot but I caught some on the news.
How can he be as disingenuous as to insinuate corbyn was siding with bin laden by saying his killing was a tragedy?
That is blatant manipulation. He is either saying corbyn said something he didnt, or he is saying he doesnt believe in justice of law.

It was a tragedy to justice that bin laden was killed and not face justice in court because as a result nothing was answered, Im assuming by his rhetoric he is therefore glad of this, which puts his own morals into question.

The US made the decision, Corbyn and Cameron can pipe down.

It was poor form the Bin Laden reference. Totally disingenuous.

Made out that Corbyn thought Bin Laden's death was a tragedy. In actual fact Corbyn had said it was a tragedy Bin Laden was killed as it meant he couldn't be brought to justice. Naughty.

Cameron was right to question Corbyns motives...the Americans got the job done as seemed fit...now Britain and its politicians could have brought Bin Laden to trial if they were capable.
Report Roger The Butler October 7, 2015 8:02 PM BST
Cameron didn't question Corbyn's motives, he accused him of saying Bin Laden's death was a tragedy. He didn't accuse him of saying Bin Laden's death was a tragedy because he should have gone on trial instead, as that wouldn't have worked as a massively cheap point scoring exercise.
Report lfc1971 October 7, 2015 8:13 PM BST
Cameron understood Corbyn exactly. Corbyn meant that the death Bin Laden was a tragedy, not because Corbyn believes his arrest would bring any important and helpful imformation. That may or may not be the case..he could not bring himself, when questioned, to say yes America did a good job...thankyou.

Treble

You raise an issue of critical importance. Can't knock anyone's aspirations to own their own home and the security it can bring.

How though do you get on that ladder unless you have 1)saved a considerable deposit which is increasingly hard to do if you are residing in the private rented sector and having to pay approx. 50% of your income on rent and 2) the ability to pay a mortgage if you are on a, say, sub £40k salary. I'm thinking of the cost of housing in London and the wider south east.

Answer is - there needs to be social rented housing for those who cannot get on that ladder, those 'hardworking families' who perhaps can only attain to a family income of £25k or £30k. I'd be more thsn happy got my taxes to pay for them.

To that I would also add the elderly and disabled. That social housing is that essential safety net which any decent society should judge itself.

That's wrong.
Why would anyone who has yet to have their mind made up say the killing of an individual is a 'good job'?
Because america told us to make him public enemy number 1?
Thats essentially trial in secret, they come to the conclusion and tell us the result, that isnt how justice works.
