Money for nothing is an afternoon show. A slightly weird woman hovers in a waste dump and asks to take your cast offs. She might take a couch and get one of her arty pals to recover it to make a profit. Not really sure this would work in real life like it does on the show. She always sells the item, which is kind of suspicious.
The real money maker is the program itself - I worked out that the BBC budget allows every hour of tv a generous amount of over £50,000 per hour? Allowing for repeats - can you lose.
the title of the show is self explanatory - the bbc is getting money for nothing.
