What a great program. New series on Sky Atlantic started tonight. Great ensemble acting and very funny. Esentially it's about addiction - and tonight's double episode went somewhere beyond the previous limits of where we (educated middle classes) think addiction wont take us. Uncomfortable.

Not seen it, but Edie Falco's the finest actress of her generation IMO.
It grows on you - but it's unfair when it points out that you - the hero of your own narrative - can be an amoral self-absorbed slime creature.

I have heard good things about this series but have never seen it. It might have something to do with not having a television, but at least I know what to watch when I get around to having one!
