Always gonna be easier for the younger members of society, with no major ties like homes or kids to abandon, to make the long journeys. Maybe some are trying to avoid conscription to Assad's Syrian Army but that's not neccessarily a bad thing. Guess you have to put yourself in their shoes at that age and think what you'd do.Germany have said they'll take as many migrants as turn up so no surprise they'll try to reach Germany rather than try and settle in countries like Croatia/Hungary/Austria etc who've made it clear they don't want them. I personally think they'd be better off setting up safe camps in countries like Turkey and aiming to bring the war to an end so people can go back to their own countries in safety rather than let Germany try and dictate what happens. You have to remeber Germany has an aging population so for now it suits them to cherry pick migrants and asylum seekers but that won't last forever. Whatever the solution demonising the migrants who are byproduct of the problem doesn't really help anyone.
Good post. You are too sensible for the interwebz.
