Who hasn't taken anything to school that looks like an IED? Kid's obviously a genius and probably taken the clock mechanism out of clock all by himself. Why? What's wrong with the story? If it's a set-up, it's not a very good one because most people who read the story, like myself, would have thought "Obviously they thought it might be a bomb. It looks like it could be a bomb."
Don't see how this is a win for either side. The kid made a clock, fair enough. The school thought that it was suspicious, fair enough. Obama found out and thought it could be free publicity, fair enough. The family want to make a big deal about it, well I think that's a bit unnecessary but parents often get overprotective when it comes to ther kids. But seriously, what's the big deal? |

the story went to the media before it was exposed by individuals on the internet, the media played the whole fictional narrative for days without question, even when clockboy was directly being fed lines in his interviews from his sister (who was once suspended for making bomb threats) and from cair representatives (a muslim brotherhood activist group)

actually there has been almost no truth coming out in the general media on this story, some are still running the original narrative
in obamas speech at the UN it emphasised that non muslims must stop equating Islam with terrorism, the core of this speech would have been set weeks ago, and the obama speech comes just after clockboy's UN address. numerous other examples of this including the admin lying for weeks about bengazi despite knowing the facts almost immediately, very little curiosity by the media then or now. other main topic obama's UN speech was of course global warming being the biggest threat to the world, not so concerned with the mid east collapsing or the massive proliferation of nuclear weapons in the next decade. |

It does look like a bomb. With all the high terror alerts, what did he and his parents think would happen? Now he is suing for $15m. I wouldn't be surprised if they planned it from the start.
