I have no interest it the sport whatsoever, but that price tells me what an upset it was. Were S.A 1.01 pre match?

Beans on toast tonight for the big hitters.

Brilliant achievement by Japan. Great scenes at the end there.

It was a bigger surprise than Pearl Harbour (not mine - but I thought it was funny)
Report FredRescue September 19, 2015 11:17 PM BST
Pearl Harbour was not a surprise, Yanks knew attack was coming days before.

So yes it was a bigger surprise today.

Amazing sporting theatre.

Japan had an easy penalty kick in overtime to snatch a draw which in itself would have been their greatest ever result and the biggest rugby shock ever, but chose to risk it all and likely defeat to gamble on winning - which they did.

One of those sporting moments that even if you are not a fan of the sport you are watching you have to get excited by it anyway.

Has to go high on the list, if not the top, of greatest sporting shocks of all time, not just rugby.

I had no financial interest in the game just to make that clear, I was with family and friends in a packed rugby pub in Bedford watching this match and to a man everyone let out a mighty cheer when Japan scored the winning try. An absolutely priceless moment in the history of rugby union.
