Flying the flag

Have good friends in Hinsdale, Illinois, which is the most beautiful place, about twenty one miles west of Chicago.

Also in Scotts Valley Ca....six miles from the beach at Santa Cruz.

Here they fly the flag with pride and it looks so right.

Don't see many flying the UJ here, and when it is it somehow doesn't look right.

Neighbour, just beyond my paddock has one, in his rear garden, and credit to him that it is never tatty.

That's the only one I know of that is flown all the time, on a private property.

I've also seen that those flying the England flag, have been ordered to take it down as it is seen to be inflammatory!
