Some say its Family, others say its your job.Another might say its your reputation, and again it might be money.others say happiness. so has anybody something that they think is the most important thing in life. perhaps its their values.or even their football team.

You can't say one thing because everything is interdependent. Money and one's job effect your family and your health and vice versa. Your health effects your family and your family effects your health. Your money effects your job and your job effects your money. It's a balancing act.

When you strip everything away, eg, car, house, job, money etc. The only thing you really have to worry about is your health. Almost everyone is in control of their own health, so it astonishes me that so many people are so utterly cavalier with their own. Nothing wrong with enjoying a bit of food or drink, but it needs to be balanced with regular exercise. Why so many people have a total disregard for their own health and wellbeing by stuff their body full of booze, cigs, drugs etc is a mystery to me.
Being fit and healthy is a wonderful thing; sadly something most don't appreciate until it's taken away from them. Sport and exercise if done regularly is enjoyable and something to be relished. Simply couldn't imagine life without doing regular exercise.

Gosh Danno!!! You must be worn out after that post....
Actually most are probably aware that, despite knocking on the door of 90, I am still in the gym, pretty much every day, and out on 'claud' as often as possible.
Once was 'superfit', with squash at least once a day, but lost that to injury.
Just have to adopt, to suit how things are. The thing is I love good grub, and vino, and that has to be balanced with other discipline.
Don't know why I was up so late last night and flicking channels and finding "Embarrassing Bodies" which I never watched.
**** me, how can people get into those conditions?
Seriously I never saw such obscenity!
It's not that they get in that state overnight, so why do they not address the problem earlier?
One guy was walking on crutches and his belly fat was just about on the floor!
A woman said she had gone down from two tons to sixteen stone but she looked way heavier to me.
On national TV she stated that when ****ing her pubic fat made a "slapping noise"!!
Do they get paid for these hideous admissions?
Not the best messages to send to family, friends, neighbours and other associates!

I think I could handle most forms of physical ill health but I value mental wellbeing as the foundation for everything in life. If I have that I know can face anything else life can throw at me.
Health. Not physical but mental health. I think I could handle most forms of physical ill health but I value mental wellbeing as the foundation for everything in life. If I have that I know can face anything else life can throw at me.
The author of the 1977 runaway bestseller, "The Complete Book of Running," Fixx is often credited with starting the American running craze. Fixx ran 10 miles a day in addition to other vigorous exercise, and was described as being in fine physical condition by friends — yet he had a fatal heart attack at the age of 52 while jogging near his home in Vermont.

You could be a chain smoker yet still live to an old age. There are no guarantees in life.
It's surely about happiness. No matter if you gamble, drink, do drugs, smoke etc. If it makes you happy, surely it's worth doing?
