That fringe looks awful. Should have had it parted just left of centre.

If she doesn't want any attention why does she have all that slap all over her boat? He was certainly sleazy and inappropriate but I don't know if he was sexist. She was certainly ageist though.

Can't see what he's done wrong, although I think he needs to visit Specsavers.

in 30 years time she might cherish the odd compliment.

So why does she post on a professionals' chit chat site???

Just wondering if she had her way how would male and female meet if we are not allowed to mention attraction.  We would die out as a species.

I have it now - she is a closet muslim and wants women covered in plastic bin bags.

I think women need to go away and get their story straight.

They like to be treated differently and believe in chivalry....yet want to be treated the same.

How many men treat other men with chivalry?

Do they really wont men to treat them like other men?

Or do they expect men's behavior towards their own sex to also change?

So obvious she's out on a crusade.

The interesting point is that she contacted him first.

By not displaying any discretion, I'm not sure her career will prosper.

Silly tart.
Mind you, I'd accept a nosh, even if it just meant not having to listen to that very annoying voice.

would you then bite her head off injera?

Yep, kiss of death. She has publicly embarrassed a senior member of her profession.

I'd be immensely flattered to get a comment like that.

Why do women wear makeup, tight dresses and heels to the office if they don't want people to stare and comment?
By:

maybe she just really really wanted to tell everyone somebody found her attractive?

You've never been on it, have you? it is certainly not a chit chat site. The fact you are made aware of whenever someone even looks at your profile usually keeps things on a professional footing

Did she not say she delt in family law?
Isn't that just like divorce advice to wimin?

Sounds a lot to me like a shop front for selling her services to like minded females.

Huge contradiction here in my opinion. She says she does not want to be seen through the eyes of a picture and her physical appearance but the picture she posted focusses entirely on her physical appearance. I mean it s not a normal picture where you get background and other things in the picture. It was a picture where she excluded everything except her physical appearance. I have lots of pictures in family albums and none are like that picture.

if it is I am very very familiar with it

I have no problems with Proudman choosing to react the way she did - that's her prerogative in private communication - but I was puzzled by her comment about being "half your age". Is she suggesting there's a free pass on comments of this kind if you're below a certain age or is she simply being ageist?

The Guardian's stance on sexist objectification of women doesn't seem to extend to the male gender. There are frequent references in this paper to an actor being a "hunk", which is something I thought was anathema even in the likes of TV Quick.

LinkedIn is a mammoth corporate dick swinging session anyway, filled with people skilled in things even they don't understand the meaning of.
