twitter is garbage - mostly filled with people vulnerable to the suggestion that they might be 'missing out' if they're not there.
OP's assessment of twitter seems fiar enough though.
facebook the same - just for sheeple who still think it's magic to say 'Hi' to someone else , without y'know, actually being there.
Whereas the bollocks spoken here is far more high brow.
