That sort of mentality harps back to 'Devine right' which ofc was simply cause and effect.
A king happened to be the victor so then decides God chose him, and all his actions from then on are sacred. Bolox. Reminds me of how Richard III blamed the wives of his opponents for his withered arm (accused them of witchcraft) and had the husbands locked up as a result, thus eliminating threat to the throne. All a set of greedy power hungry funk nuts. No doubt she will add a few more runs to the total just to make sure her name gets remembered in a less than certain future for monarchy. Strange innit, Rooney gets top goalscorer, queenie gets most days racked up and mayweather equals most undefeated, all within same week. |

Did anyone see a quite bizarre story on BBC News last night? They showed VT footage of The Queen on a train and the newsreader said "Her majesty spent time talking with Nicola Sturgeon whilst Prince Philip looked out the window". What a man.

I felt sorry for the Queen being stuck in a railway carriage with Nicola Sturgeon. Prince Philip had the right idea. Ignore her and maybe she'll p1ss off.
