If Rob's answer isn't right then he must be close with the BBC (programmes if not radio) connection. I think I was trying to overthink it too much, the Beatles answer was fairly straightforward.

yeah i think that could well be the connection.... just need to get all 5 names and know they are right! i think once we definitely have the right connection the names should be more obvious or the other way round (stating the obvious i know)

Google says DJ Spoony, Scott Mills and Jeremy Vine are all BBC radio presenters who've been on Strictly. I can't put their names with the clue for question C though.
