A young man walking along the Pier notices an old man with his shoes off, trouser legs rolled up, legs dangling in the sea and fishing with an imaginary rod.
Puzzled the young man asks, "What are you doing?"
The old man replies, "Fishing for c*nts."
"Sounds good. Can I join you?" replied the young man.
"Of course you can, pull up a pew son."
The young man sits down and casts an imaginary rod out, and then says, "So, how many c*nts have you caught today?"
The old man replies, "You're the third this morning."
Sorry, not original, but funny - I found it on the 'net but thought how apposite for the forum (I don't know what apposite means, either, but it makes me seem clever)

If the world does indeed end soon, I don't want it to end on my Friday fish & chip joke day. I fear that you're tempting fate with your scaremongering. Already I read that a forumite is asking how much to get into Australia (I know, I know ... if the world does end then Australia will go with it, but some forumites skipped Geography O level so don't know) |
