Should be okay, 3 weeks premature is quite manageable, best of luck.

It's not uncommon this and is a better safe than sorry step to take, gl.

Fingers crossed for you and yours that everything goes ok, as someone said 3 weeks prem is not unusual,  our own twins were 10 weeks prem and only weighed 3lb each on arrival, 22 years later they are both 6ft plus and embarrassingly fit and healthy, gl

Fingers crossed Aunty, my eldest son was six weeks early by C-section as he had Gastroschisis, that was nearly 19 years ago. Im sure all will  turn out fine.

Apparently the baby hasn't grown since her previous scan, and is actually smaller.

The placenta has ceased to perform, and the baby has been effectively feeding on itself.

Expected to be something like 5lbs.....

Looking at his face, it's hard to believe that his birth weight is only just over a third of Gemma's, born last year.

But you are right, we need some good news, and certainly for James, who has had a desperate few years.

Met the little guy for the first time yesterday
Gem and I and her eight month old were summoned to help, as they were desperate for sleep!

Thinking back to my three, I was also desperate for sleep, but no 'Paternity Leave' back then, and had to struggle off to work after it!
He is so teeny tiny and actually lost weight at first before recovering.

Hopefully, in two to three weeks, he should be up to more normal birth weight.

Looking good AP, all's well that ends well :)

Well here's the photo in the style of Rembrandt and approved on the third submission (plus argument).
This was just yesterday and he isn't due till next week!

James says he's now up to six pounds.

Put up another photo of him less than a week old, and snuggled in his "Oliver" towel, and that also is rejected!!!!
