Can't believe it, so tragic, and they were so young, and the woman being interviewed currently in hospital seriously injured. Seen the live footage on twitter. What knid of sick **** is this ?  And when will the USA wake up to their gun violence problem ?

It's amazing how many school shootings, including a primary school shooting, they are willing to put up with before they ban guns, almost like they get off on the drama of it, America really are in no position to preach to any other nation.

Just watched the footage filmed by the shooter

He is stood there pointing his gun at near point bland range at the female journalist for a few secs and isn't noticed, then points it at the cameraman who has his back to him, then points it back at the female journalist and shoots her 3 times and she tries to run away then the News channels camera falls to the ground.

Zazu correct, it almost looks like a computer game( not that i play them) but the way the gun is pointing one in the camera, then he moves away, then he points it again all the time never being noticed, and then fires. No blood but i'm not a weapons and gun shot expert.

In the 23-page document faxed to ABC News, the writer says “MY NAME IS BRYCE WILLIAMS” and his legal name is Vester Lee Flanagan II” He writes what triggered today’s carnage was his reaction to the racism of the Charleston church shooting:

“Why did I do it? I put down a deposit for a gun on 6/19/15. The Church shooting in Charleston happened on 6/17/15…”

Seems like the guy was a real nut job ready to explode, like Mark Chapman who gunned down John Lennon.

Don't think anything will change regarding gun laws in America, nothing changed after the Sandy Hook killings, so after 20 children got shot and killed, nothing changed, and doubt if anything will change now.

obama and hilary are out marketing for money and votes, but the shooter had neither a criminal record nor an assault rifle, and he was psychotic enough to wait out any withholding period, so democratic party legislation would have made no difference. No reason not to profit from this crisis though.
the media have also decided to focus on gun rights, gay rights, and black rights even though the facts of the story don't match their narrative.
the shooter had all his claims dismissed by the very liberal EEOC, however the constant political mythologising of gay / black persecution in one of the most diverse and liberal countries on earth persuaded him he was a victim who was justified in killing innocent people on the basis of a percieved slur, blasphemy, or insult. an honour killing much of the media will be very understanding toward, whether he used acid, a machete, ancar, a bomb or a handgun.

A nutter with a gun killed two people. To put this into context, Wikipedia shows 11,000 homicides a year by guns in America: that's 30 a day. The only thing that makes this particular shooter stand out is that he did it on telly.

25 years or so ago we went on the last big family holiday as kids were starting to do their own thing.
Anyway, it was a trip round California.  Went to Universal Studios (just before it burnt down!) and on one of the trolley rides through one of the sets, guide said he was from Texas and "have any of y'all been to Texas?".

You may recall that there was a DIY chain in the UK called Texas and quick as a flash I said
"no, but I've been to B & Q".
Everybody on the trolley just turned and looked at me strangely, including man from Texas.

all morning bbc radio were reporting that the reason for the attack was that the killer had suffered from racism & homophobia, changed there tune with there reporting this evening.

So, to summarise... a black "Racism Obsessed" nutter kills 2 innocent white persons 'live' on US television, yet seemingly NO-ONE in UK Medialand wants to reach the obvious conclusion that the cowardly slayings were racist murders. (I've yet to hear about any subsequent days or nights of rioting though)

Last night's cringeworthy 'Newsnight' report preferred to focus on the fact that the killer chose to film his actions, then perversely use modern technology to put it online for the world to see. It came over as a feeble and shameful attempt to 'blame the messenger' as it were, i.e. the websites which allow such material to be posted.

The normal attitude of the typical modern media lefty is, of course, a barely-concealed glowing admiration for how organisations such as ISIS and their ilk use social media and broadcast websites to radicalise the thick and advance their propaganda.

It's incredible how in denial the media continue to be regarding racism.

They have only ever reported it one way. If this was the other way around, the killer would be described as a white man who killed 2 black people.
