Most people will have put away working tree lights that don't work next year!

Have approx 200 photos on 35mm colour slides, that haven't been viewed on the big screen for at least 25 years.
The family want to see them as many are very special.

Got the big screen and projector down from the loft and and the bulb is broken off its "tails"!
How the hell could that happen? It was secure in the box and working when put away.

I ordered a new one from eBay - "lightbulbcompany" which came the following day.

Put it in with some difficulty as it's buried in the depths, and hidden by my hand (it was protected so couldn't be touched).

Plugged in and the fan runs but no light. Then messaged the supplier who sent another one which arrived yesterday.

Just put that in and same thing!!!
Ridiculous so I'm just thinking that the switch is broken.

Again, how the hell does a switch break when the whole thing is secure in the box?

What a fantastic company if you need any kind of bulbs. I paid £2.99 including 1st class postage.

The same type of bulbs are on e-bay for £8.00.
Btw the ones I have  are branded "Osram" and made in Germany.

Just going to tell the suppliers thanks, and the new one is fine.
