Further to my defence of this poor homeless man who lived on a park bench.
His solicitor says he found a bag of guns and just went on a train.

I guess he may have been on his way to a police station to hand them in.
Of course he was curious and must have been investigating how the guns worked when these vicious thugs
attacked him for no reason.(probably because he was black and a muslim)  So this is a racist and islamaphobic attack.
Obviously he defended himself with a knife.
Lots of compensation coming his way.

From all reports, the would-be killer is not the sharpest mass murderer in the toolbox.

He forgot to lock the toilet door so the French passenger burst in on him (and tried but failed to disarm him) and made so much noise that the Americans recognised the sound of a gun being loaded. He did not load the pistol properly, and managed the almost impossible task of jamming an AK47, a weapon whose whole raison d'etre is not jamming in sandy deserts or muddy swamps.

Which mental shortcomings probably explain why he was so easily convinced that God needed him to massacre a bunch of tourists.

You can see now why it was, erm, absolutely essential that Europe gave the terrorist a homeland.

This is the sort of calibre of person that the 'enlightened' and 'progressive' left-thinking folk want on our own shores.

For example

The more these Muslim nutters do the more the guardian and the bbc seem to support their actions, I am suprised that under the current anti terror laws they haven't been  changed with inciting an act of terrorism.

It's surely not so much a risk as inevitable that when you blindly take in literally millions of people from places where violence is normal, where we know there are many who hate us and want to kill us, that we're going to get a lot more things like this. Surely it's a very reasonable thing to consider? How would you price it up. 1.10? 1.01?
The way the BBC/Guardian deliberately look the other way or call people who point out the obvious names...

What percentage of the incomers will be paedophiles, the sort who left their indelible 'vibrant' and 'enriching' mark on any number of sexually-underaged white girls in umpteen UK towns?

Is anyone going to bother checking whether any of the incomers has a criminal record, or suffering from a serious health condition?

"The BBC still refuse to rep[ort this, and this has nothing to do with Islam." ??? Refuse to report what? Does that make sense? What does it mean?
Would anybody care to enlighten me as to what is going on. Why do you say REFUSE?? Have these facts been established?
By:

It isn't eveb remotely true, Naydam. 18 hours ago the BBC came out with this:

https://twitter.com/BBCBreaking/status/635042761620762626

"...train gunman suspected of belonging to radical Islamist group but identity not established..."

Obviously it was on the main website too.

I actually agree that the press is, on balance, palpably pro-immigration and left-leaning, but its bias is dwarfed by those on here who seem to be egging each further and further into the realms of fantasy.

The Beeb must have suffered from defamation in the past. I find they are very careful before even publishing a story that someone else has reported. In fairness I think it all boils down to their public ownership, they don't have shareholders to report to but the country

The Old Bill are making one arrest a day on terrorism charges.

I would not be exaggerating to say 99%+ are people who have been heavily influenced by a brand of Islam that leads them to violence.

That's just in this country. Abroad it is an issue affecting many nations. Muslims are killing Muslims in the main. But others are randomnly targeted in a world wide Jihad.

We've yet to see the media fully acknowledge this. They are often at pains to say the terrorists do not reflect Islam.

I beg to differ.

1 arrest a day - would that be in relation to the 5 IRA members arrested for the murder of the dissident McGuigan? Do they count? There are regular arrests in NI for terrorism. They haven't gone away you know but how many are Islamic extremists?

As for the authorities being aware of this man's existence...what do you suggest they do? Charge him? With what? Had he committed previous offences that they could prove?

To Tommy Barnes. It is an almost insignificant incident. One man. No deaths. Not really the stuff that should grab the attention of the world's news. What should they report next? A benefits cheat? People are experiencing far worse than this on a daily basis.
I will accept that this incident does have media-appeal because, just for once, the public got the chance to show their feelings.

To Dave1357. What proof have they of incitement? Or conspiracy? You can't just jail somebody because somebody said he's  going to be a naughty boy! You need facts! Proof. Evidence. You know, odd stuff like that.

Every sentence and every word in that sentence from the BBC will be used to promote their anti western ideology. It is even more subtle than you would believe...

There was a programme that mentioned Guy Burgess, the soviet spy, and one time BBC employee just a few weeks ago....in a passing sentence they said that he had betrayed the British establishment..

The BBC could not bring themselves to say that this communist traitor had betrayed Britain....it was the establishment. The lies and manipulation of the message continues, they employed Burgess then who wanted the death and destruction of Britain and they continue today.

So according to his lawyer, he found an AK47 in a bag in Belgium. As you do!
How does she sleep at night? I appreciate its her job to defend her client, but why not say he was brainwashed, or is a bit thick,
to try and reduce his sentence, rather than make up this load of sh1te.
How would she feel,if after a reduced sentence , he is released early, goes on another shooting spree, and kills her son and grandson?

The reason people pass comment on the BBC in this area is quite simple : they deserve it.
I watched a couple of reports on the migrant issue this week and it was if anything more biased than ever. The narrative they are pushing is very obvious: we should be letting them all in, if not also helping them to get here, and anyone against it or even questions it is a bad person or racist.
Take Macedonia, how dare be seen to be wanting to protect their borders and not let a pile people in who they didn't want to stroll on in. The BBC angle was very clearly that Macedonia was bad for this. I wonder how the lefties think their buddy Putin would handle them?

Lfc1971. Perhaps the bounder also betrayed the BBC?

Mad mad moon. Well, I suppose that, now he HAS committed an offence, he will be sent to trial. But you couldn't send him before because he'd done nowt wrong.

Just checking. Macedonia seems to be providing every assistance to the migrants in order to help them on their way.

All countries seem to be in agreement that they should be accepted. Who is against it? Is this the fault of the BBC? GrinGrin

Yes Macdonia caved and decided to adopt plan B which very shrew of them.
They don't let them stroll on in and do what they want, they are stuck on transport and moved to the other side of the country ASAP and dumped in serbia, as they head to Germany/Calais.
"All countries seem to be in agreement that they should be accepted. Who is against it?"

I disagree. As I said above:

I actually agree that the press is, on balance, palpably pro-immigration and left-leaning, but its bias is dwarfed by those on here who seem to be egging each further and further into the realms of fantasy.

What the BBC deserves is to be nudged a little to the right to balance things up a bit; what it doesn't deserve is to be constantly pilloried for being virtual traitors to the country and part of some kind of inexplicable conspiracy to hand the oountry over to Islamic extremists. I find it remarkable that a forum full of gamblers, who should be relatively skilled at assessing and accounting for bias, are evidently so inapable of doing so.

For the record, I don't think we should be allowing any undocumented migrants into the country if we can avoid it, so don't accuse me of being part of this mythical "let them all in brigade" of which you constantly blather.
By:

When: 23 Aug 15 22:06
Just checking. I do believe that the UK are proving somewhat difficult regarding the technicalities of the matter. However, that will change as soon as the migrants are accepted by any EU country.

Did I miss the report? I don't know. I didn't know that there had been a report. But from what I cam see, they get into dodgy boats and we (Europe etc) pick them up and bring them here (Europe).
Could you supply a list of countries that have refused to accept refugees?

It's obvious tryign to talk sense is useless but I'll try. Try watching the BBC coverage on this issue. Then read the guardian (where the not so mythical "let them all in brigade" are alive and well), then try to put a cigarette paper between their beliefs in this area.
"Could you supply a list of countries that have refused to accept refugees?"

Calais is a coastal town in France. Macedonia appear to have suddenly been faced with people wanting to cross their border.

I don't get any newspaper. I also see very little news. Perhaps you are overloaded with information and opinions?

The BBC don't send these migrants to Greece, Macedonia, Serbia, Turkey or anywhere else for that matter. They simply report the facts. These people are here...they came from there...they want to go there.
They send a news-crew to show you the pictures and maybe find an English-speaker for rudimentary interview. But the people are there first! They are not the fault of the BBC!

Well done to France for awarding the Legion d'Honneur to the heroes who downed the gunman and prevented carnage.

Full marks to the officials who have already made up their minds about the motives of the man with the gun. It seems they don't believe the embarrassing drivel about him finding the guns in a bag in a Brussels park after all. I'm surprised The Guardian hasn't yet waded in though to cast doubt and urge caution on the accepted version of events. No doubt there's still time.

Needless to say, the heroes would not have been presented with anything so fitting over here until there had been any number of fatuous trials, appeals, judicial reviews etc brought by any number of chancer Human Rights cretins on the gunman's behalf. And paid for by the UK taxpayer.
