Isn't this a bit over the top, I'm not sure that many people outside of Liverpool are particularly overly interested, there's helicopter camera's, crowds only 5-6 people deep and but both 24 hour news channels covering it like it's a state funeral, having heard her sing recently I thinks she was average and hasn't been a big TV star for years. She's being buried in her beloved Liverpool said Sky, but she loved it so much she lived in either Buckinghamshire or Spain Crazy

As she was a big fan of Thatcher I would imagine she is about as popular in Liverpool as crabs at a gangbang.

Yes, just a bit over the top, and the irony of calling her Queen of Liverpool.  She was a tory and loved Liverpool so much she hardly went back there and spent most of her time away from the place and in Spain. I liked her but I don't think she was as nice away from the cameras, and from her early days in the Cavern she done good.  However, she was also in the right place at the right time, and with the right people around her. Although having said that she did have the talent to keep going and make a very successful career in TV after her time as a singer in the 60's.

This is so reminiscent of the heartbroken city/nation at.......

......errrrr...... Jimmy Savile's funeral

although he did have various sections of the armed forces parading in full dress
lining the funeral route.

THe media are desperate for anything to talk about and occupy air time. A cull of media experts may be a good move.

Charming, what a prik you are. Calling her a kant on the day she was buried, when you probably knew nothing about her.
By:

When: 20 Aug 15 23:48
She was a cant, sold out her working class roots by biggin' up that absolute grade A professional evil t0sspot thatcher, and who turns up to her funeral, a load of rich tory supporters, couldn't make it up.

Almost ten years old the pub now. To show you how old it is, Each-Way and Lady Penelope I think were the first two patrons.

We need people like that back again, not just in the pub but in general. To add some juice, as I seem to remember each way used to say.
