I went for a health check up on Monday,hadn't been for about two years,so far have received the following results.
Glucose just above normal.
Cholesterol 6.1
LDL bad Lipids 4 (should be 3)
I am awaiting HBAI results.
I received these by text,haven't spoken to doc about them can any one explain these to me,by the way my BMI was fine.

Cholesterol should be below 5 and ldlcholesterol below 3
So you have high cholesterol like a lot of people

is that all no drama so,just the text message kind of spooked me.
what happens with these checks is that they release the results to you gradually ...
first you get the good/borderline stuff by text (as you have)
next they send round somebody from a law firm to talk about making a will
then you get a visit from a man from the co-op who talks about wood preference - mahogany or pine or oak sort of thing.
BE VERY WORRIED IF YOU HEAR NOTHING THEN MICHAEL PARKINSON CALLS WITH A FREE PARKER PEN. JUST DON'T ANSWER THE DOOR.
