I'm a big fan of retrospective testing. Done properly it would be by far the most powerful anti-doping tool for anyone seriously trying to clean up sport. Which is why it so rarely happens.
Unfortunately in this case it's just as likely they've been sitting on these results for years and are just releasing them now because they need a win. Look how tough on dopers we are. Who'll be on the list ? Russian hammer-throwers, turkish runners and spanish walkers for sure. High-profile english-speaking athletes ? Unlikely
