Only this week there's been the cowardly murder of a police officer in Memphis.
Curiously, there have NOT been any subsequent riots and looting in the streets, which I though was compulsory when a person was shot dead in the streets in the US.
What's the difference in this case? You'd have thought the people would be angry with a police officer being murdered.

OP's figs refer to deaths of Cops on duty (78 in 2014).
The figs from your link refer to deaths of members of the public by the actions of Cops (695 so far in 2015).

If you ever watched the likes of "Police Interceptors" and other such GB programmes and then watch "Cops Unloaded" or whatever the US version is, I'm surprised it isn't more!
Every single "suspect", male or female is dragged out of their vehicle with as many as three or more cops and grappled to the ground, even if they weren't resisting.
No small wonder they are called "pigs" as they are animals!
I know they must be mindful of people having weapons, but for three big guys to put a young girl on the ground, is beyond overkill!
