Recently came back from Krakow  & visited Auschwitz & Birkenau, it was the latter that had the most effect on me, standing on the purpose built platform for the trains which came directly  from all over Europe.
Immediately the trains reached Birkenau everyone was unloaded & split into two groups, most were march straight away to the gas chambers & were dead within an hour of arriving.
The gas chambers roughly 300 yards from where they disembarked were blown up by the Nazis the day before the Russians arrived & have been left exactly the same ever since, all the children were killed straight away along with their mothers.

People still want to wipe out the Jews.

They are prevalent in Malmo,Amsterdam,Paris,Brussells and London and are piloting their way across the Meditteranean at the moment.

I think they should try not to stand out so much as in Stamford Hill.....why not blend in and wear clothes and have hair-styles that the of the average Brit.

If the state of Israel had still been in existence the Holocaust would never have happened.
Two ethnic groups today may one day be in danger, because they either no longer or have never had a homeland the  kurds and the gypsies

I can assure you 90% of Jews do blend in, orthodox Jews obviously stand out as would anyone in religious garb of any ethnicity, & can you please tell me what the " average brit " looks like?

I could be wrong here but I think even many orthodox Jews don't stand out in appearance; they are just more observant of the sabbath.

The Stamford Hill Jews that you speak of are Hassidic(?) Jews I think.

this, always this - it may be a little trite, but it's the deepest truth : if we stand together, we'll be alright, but if we deride the notions of community and brotherhood, we can be taken down, picked off one by one/group by group.

Getting back to the thread title post :

Those 1 million Jewish children's deaths, as are the 5 million other Jewish deaths, are on the collective conscience of the German people.

They did not stop the Nazi Party....they collaborated with it.....they are damned into eternity.

Which is exactly what the Tory governments policy is doing. Divisive strategies imposed on the weakest and poorest , is splitting our society.

Actually facts it's been going on for quite
a while as we are being turned into a D I Y society

and mao and stalin went into overdrive on their own after it had finished.

i do not want to diminish the atrocity of the holocaust in any way, its unwavering purpose and brutal, systematic and detached execution certainly make it stand out as a nadir in our civilisation.

but there were many millions more civilian deaths in world war II and immediately afterwards and they too should not be forgotten because they were inflicted on a population with a much less prominent voice in western history.

Ethnic Germans living in surrounding countries were not to blame for the rise of
the Nazis but after the war they paid  a terrible price with the biggest ever ethnic cleansing in history, approx 10 million, no one knows how many died.

Things like this brushed under the carpet, because it does not fit in with elites view of the WW2 and it's aftermath.
