Called him out for what I saw him as, he adds a lot more than most to this forum but he has a lot more time on his hands, seems like a bitter old man who just needs to enjoy retirement rather than worry about things he has no control over, I will always the cherish the moment he asked me to post a picture of my girlfriend so he could compare what our missus's looked like

That wasn't in response to a picture. That was when he said his grandson could turn an ipad on in 20 seconds. I Pad or picture of his Grandson, either way totally uncalled for, if he started referring to you after that with some choice words I suspect you probably deserved it. |

Or is it just that YOU liked him and have applied that opinion to everybody who you decided did not? In fairness, I will not descend to name-calling or abuse if you decline. We are all entitled to our own opinion. Agreement is not compulsory. In fact, agreement is the worst possible scenario on a discussion forum. Perhaps you don't see the humour in somebody declaring "This place has become crap since I joined"? Which is, in effect, what his message said.  |

Although I find his prejudices offensive, ultimately I'm not bothered by him either way - like aka and his sycophantic cohorts he is fortunately in a very small minority in modern british society (outside of the alternative universe that is chitchat), but it is telling that he uses pumpy's login to post replies to his detractors on here...
