As far as Im aware the pilot wasnt his best mate

He organized event so would obviously be upset

Didn't look real.

Everything about Chris Evans is false a total pr2ck,But a very rich one

Touch arrogant generally imo  probably  believes his own publicity .

However I would say that was genuine emotion for sure.

chris evans spends millions on cars inc over £1m for a Ferrari then has the cheek to aske people without two hapennies to rub together to give to charity.

He is also very tight fisted will even haggle over price of furniture in a shop and ask staff to phone manager to get him the discount as its "him" (story I was told).

Cant like the guy,all about him,self centred and would love Top Gear to be rubbish received.
