The worst is the 80-y-o professional Yorkshireman ( who lives by the Thames ) flogging life insurance to other old people who are worried they won't leave enough to pay for a funeral. Cringeworthy.

"You can't get that sort of cover for less", said with mock sincerity and disdain! How the hell they sell anything, considering the warnings and disclaimers in the subtitles, is a mystery (are the pens worth a phone call)? Still have to kill the "Go Compare" one before it gets going! "Meerkats" ....terrific ads. "Best dad scarf"....always leaves me chocked... ![]() |

By:
most cringeworthy has to be the awful Nicole Sh1tsinger ads where she gets a bit of yoghurt on her beak.
|

By:
Money Supermarket.....have to kill that too, and don't understand the final message!
Is it to appeal to gays, or something subliminal that I don't see? |

Off to watch a few more..."I'll be back"

That didn't take long!!!
Just walked in to "Send just £3.00 a month to adopt a Tiger".....could have been a Snow Leopard, Kangaroo, Crocodile, Python or Funnel Web Spider for all I care! Got no room for any of them here! |

KFC .apparently families sit around together eating fried chicken and chips and youngsters fall in love over it

In reality its just a crap meal that you only buy when you cant be arsed to cook and you sit around in silence munching it as fast as you can without saying a word.

Amazon one makes me sick. Dad decides the answer to his child being unhappy is to spend 10 seconds and a few quid on a present and everything is hunky dory.

Anyone seen the O2/England rugby one.......
![]() The England Rubgy side being carried on the shoulders of members of the public , and , inexplicably , the band Take That one of the most cringeworthy things i've ever seen |

Nobody in disagreement on here, so why don't the promoters understand how they alienate people, with their excruciating garbage?
Do they think/believe, that somehow the anger at such as "The Halifax", "Go Compare", "Safestyle UK" and all mentioned on here, somehow have subliminal messages that encourage people to buy? Like the new one, with a girl and guy in a bus shelter, where he walks through the ad, and drives off in the car. Very clever! |
|
By:
Thought somebody might have mentioned sky sports premiership ad,by far the worst imo.
"super sunday" particulary in winter is a great time for a doze, who wants to watch the same few teams winning it each year anyway. Trying to make something out of nothing and a poor exercise in trying to rope a dope as they know well it is no champions league. |

Best - Tennents Lager - Caledonia is calling me
Worst - Rowantrees randoms. Foot through the tv stuff |

agree with that AP. I've had a quarter of a million (approx) emails from the same company offering me Funeral Insurance over the past several months. If and when I do want this type of insurance obviously I won't be going to them! |

the warner hotels one ! fecking kakk!

the worst, by a country mile, is the Lloyd's advert, closely followed by the nationwide one.
Bill Hicks was especially right in this instance: anyone involved in the production of either advert should kill themselves. immediately. Clumsy mawkish sentimental crap, weakly plagiarising the department store christmas advert meme, desperately trying to forge a positive association through utterly irrelevant vignettes completely removed from the criminal usury that paid for its production. |
|
By:
I'm guessing the chit-chat intelligentia is probably at the bottom of the select group that the ad-men are aiming at.
For example,it is now advertising law, that sofa advertisers have to have at least one black/asian family, and a just-married mixed race couple to head up their adverts. Oh, and they must have a sale on that ends on Sunday! |

The NatWest ad with the annoying little sh*t in the garden with his wellies on who, when he whispers, 'So they could have me', I want to tear him limb from limb.
118 118 sickens me too - even more so cos they blatantly stole David Bedford's image & have turned it into their entire brand shtick, & they somehow won the court case when Bedford challenged them. Too many to list really. Bill Hicks definitely hit the nail on the head. 'If anyone here is involved in marketing or advertising… kill yourself'. |

I like the Pepsodent ad, "You'll wonder where the yellow went when you brush your teeth with Pepsodent."
Paddy Power must be in the running for the worst. A bookmaker using a mock-up frozen meal labelled Horse Lasagne is in very poor taste even by his low standards. |
