Chinese woman swallowed by escalator

To clarify - be aware before clicking this is a video of a poor woman tragically dying.

Nobody seems to do health and safety quite like the Chinese.
For all those scoffing at the beaurocatic rules over here they want to look over there.
Only the other month there was footage of a man crushed to death stepping into an elevator as it started to rise as he was half in it.
Then there was the almost completed tower block that simply rolled off its foundations.

I've no wish to watch a video of someone's tragic death, but thanks all the same

One must remember that in some parts of the world people are much closer to the realities of life than we are
and accept that death is part of life.

In the West now we have shielded ourselves from death, although we have not stopped it, we still die of something.
This situation has not existed before in human history, and may not last.

I think China have done well to pull themselves up from a basic agricultural society to where they are now.
Sadly safety and health and environment issues have been sacrificed, hopefully they will get round to these.

There are hundreds of clips on YouTube of people dying. This is one of the least graphic. At least she managed to save her little boy.

I am glad she did that Mikael...she performed her duty as a mother bravely...she must be commended for that
I am still not watching
