As much as I detest Cameron I cant honestly blame him for any slaves his ancestors kept, that is hardly
his responsibly I will blame him for trying to turn a lot of poorer people in our society today to virtual slaves or as near as he can get The truth is, however unpalatable, our ancestors were unaware slavery was wrong, they thought it was normal. Since they were unaware they doing wrong, where they doing wrong? Fortunately good people made us aware of the evils of slavery, although in the US, a civil war to be fought over this If we want to know the problem we are having between races today, we need to look elsewhere in my opinion, looking at slavery gets us nowhere. |

n the 1650s Anthony Johnson, who was African, won a court case that let him keep another African, John Casor, as his slave instead of ending his indentured servitude.
This meant that the first legally recognized owner of a permanent slave in America, was a black man. |

Slavery did not start three hundred years ago - the jews were enslaved several times in the past. Rome had slaves. Present day you also have massive slavery problems. Why this focus on one particular time.
Sounds like an intro to compensation. The victims and the exploiters are dead. Try and focus on the present slavery? |
