My garden usually has dozens of blue tits feeding and living in the hedges
Two weeks ago they literally disappeared overnight, along with 2 robins and various other birds (greenfinch, sparrow)
I have not had to restock the bird feeders for 2 weeks whereas I was previously having the refill every 2 days.
Has this happened to anyone else?

...stil got quite a few speicies on the sunflowers seeds in oxford......not too worry though...think this is around the time breeding is starting to tail off....
....and then the adults retreat into woodland or lay low and replenish their coats...think its called shedding.

yyyyyyyyyyyyeeeeeeeessssssssssssssss...I love blackbirds.....though they seem to spend more energy chasing each other off than they do eating....

If you need any jackdaws let me know, hundreds of them around here.
got a pair of bullfinches , havent had them in garden for over 10 years.male s one of me favs, colours are stunning
Couple of old hens in my garden at the mo. Not much chance of them shifting either..
My blackbirds are so friendly they will eat sultanas from your hand.
...although I do have a fox that does it with bread and honey....will try and find the pics.
sometimes see a pair of birds of prey high in the sky hunting,, bigger than crows think they must be buzzards ,didn't think they were this far south (south coast )
One Magpie, one robin, a few doves and pigeons, lots of blackbirds and loads of sparrows.
Starlings drop in about once a week.
A peacock pops in through the conifers now and again, no idea who it belongs to.
A woodpecker comes once or twice a month
Not seen any thrushes for ages.
