When I was at school the year classes were divided in to halves to write about the American Civil War, and we had hundreds of Airfix soldiers painted blue or grey for mock battles on a vast board.

Nobody knew the end result, and I opted for the Confederates as I thought they had a smarter uniform.

We never did WW1 or WW2, but if we did, and I hadn't known the result, I'd have gone for Ze Jairmans, because their uniform was much smarter.

As I prefer my troops smartly dressed, and I appear to pick the losing side when I do, I'm not going to choose between the smart British Army and the rag wearing muzzies of IS.
