My Nokia packed in after 14 years. I was the same,just wanted a simple no frills mobile. I bought a Samsung pay as you go phone from Argos for just £5 plus £10 call time. It does the job fine and fits easily into your pocket.

I use a Sony Ericsson w200i with a payg sim. It cost me £30 and I've had it about 8 years now. Totally reliable and still working 100%. Changed the battery about 6 months ago.

I wish I could be like you guys and make do with a cheap phone. I'm addicted to gadgets though. Can't help myself. Went into carphone warehouse a couple of months ago and saw the Galaxy S6 had just been released. 10 minutes later and I'm £600 lighter
 I don't use it much either. Prefer using my iPad. |

My "kids" are the same. They can complain about being skint, but always have to have the latest model!
Gem got the S6 and put it down, face up on a kitchen worktop, and a can of soup destroyed it (I don't think it was even organic)! |
