Funnily enough my friends son is 14 and mad for em and he played me some of the new album. They can certainly still do it.

It's funny how some music is timeless, some dates really quickly. AC/DC stuff from the 70s still sounds great.

I was listening to Appetite for Destruction (GnR) the other day, that could have been released yesterday, a cracking album, almost 30 years old!

I much prefer early DC with Bon but BIB is, imo, their best album with BJ.  New album's ok but they're past their sell-by date now - esp with Malcolm being out the band.  They'll still put on a hell of a show but there's NO WAY I'm paying that much to see them at Hampden.

Yup, plenty good tunes from the old days could have only been released yesterday, JC.  Timeless indeed and it's great seeing youngsters wearing t-shirts of classic rock bands.

Of all the gigs I've been to of which there have been many I've always said AC/DC was the best out of all of them.

Dang right, Slippy.  Last time I saw DC indoors was at the Edinburgh Playhouse on the "For Those About To Rock" tour ... man, were those cannons loud!  As for the Bell with BJ smashing it with his hammer and swinging on the rope - that was loudness personified.
