I rarely wonder what it must be like to go to a gay bar.

Been to a few gay bars with a friend. Lots of drugs but you never see a pool table.

Kind of ironic the name of the club was the Kremlin.

At the time my friend confided with me he had become gay. Thought it would be a nice touch if me and my wife went out with him for the night. No big story.

Good evening Bito.

Good news - Crisp is apparently well and travelling at the moment. He may be off playing Bridge somewhere.

Poor Crisp. I think he loves Labour and was probably upset when he saw the exit poll. Don't think he liked what Kinnock said either Sad

Perhaps given the good Capt's comments we could merge this thread with the one on prostitution?

Well I looked it up Bito and it means: 'disreputable bar'. Kinnock was talking about 'fear' - probably economy and the SNP.

i haven't read this thread properly but what I've garnered so far is that Neil Kinnock got the fear whilst playing pocket billiards in the toilets of a disreputable bar, and ended up with a right nice touch Crazy

Around about 1992/3 me and Mrs SAGC were on a weekend away in Sussex, and long before it became a proper haven for poofs, rug munchers and life's general w*nkers, we found ourselves in Brighton one night.

We went into a bar on the pier, which was packed. Mrs SAGC stood by a window while I wedged myself between the crowd to get to the bar.

As I was getting my drinks I felt a hand stroke my arse cheeks. ShockedLaugh

I picked up the drinks, turned around, and saw a group of 4 men and women behind me.

I looked each one in the eyes, but there was no response.

I assume whoever did it had walked on.

Tbf I was facking gorgeous Cool so it could have been a member of either sex.

When I was a 17 year old student in 1980, I worked in a hotel in Bournemouth. I overheard one of the residents call the barman "Loveyducks". That is the only time I have ever heard anybody say it. I later asked the barman if I'd heard correctly. Apparently I did, the barman told me that the resident was sounding him out to see if he was up for a bit of bumming. I remember being totally shocked.
