Musical brilliance! Great interview in the Evening Standard this week with Ray Davies centring on the musical 'Sunny Afternoon'. Not sure I agree with the comment about New Orleans when davies compares it to East FinchleyConfused

Hi Kenny and Bito.

Sorry - it's a play, not a musicalBlush I do hope to see it. I seem to remember from the article that it's on at the Harold Pinter Theatre.

Loved the show Sunny Afternoon, can highly recommend it, great high-energy production, very talented cast.  The Harold Pinter theatre is a small lovely old theatre. Won Best Musical of 2015.  The one playing Dave Davies was very good, didn't realise how wild he was, bi-sexual and basically into everything and the punch-ups on stage, and being banned from America.  Some very poignant moments in the show, excellent musical, really enjoyed it.

What Hound Dog says.

The Harold Pinter Theatre really is a great venue for this show.

I remember an interview where their guitarist, to get distortion, (this is way before you had pedals for it) just cut holes in the amplifier speaker.
