Musical brilliance! Great interview in the Evening Standard this week with Ray Davies centring on the musical 'Sunny Afternoon'. Not sure I agree with the comment about New Orleans when davies compares it to East Finchley

Loved the show Sunny Afternoon, can highly recommend it, great high-energy production, very talented cast. The Harold Pinter theatre is a small lovely old theatre. Won Best Musical of 2015. The one playing Dave Davies was very good, didn't realise how wild he was, bi-sexual and basically into everything and the punch-ups on stage, and being banned from America. Some very poignant moments in the show, excellent musical, really enjoyed it.
