The mother of a man who died after being Tasered by police saw the "fear in his face" before the trigger was pulled, an inquest has heard.

Jordan Begley, 23, died in hospital two hours after he was shot by a police officer in Gorton, Manchester following a row with neighbours on 10 July 2013.

Manchester Civil Courts of Justice heard he was Tasered and struck by officers while being restrained.

The inquest is scheduled to last five weeks.

PC Terence Donnelly, the officer said to have fired the stun gun at him, is expected to give evidence along with four other serving Greater Manchester Police officers: PCs Dave Graham, Christopher Mills, Peter Fox and Andrew Wright.

After being handcuffed, Mr Begley's breathing changed to "abnormal" and another officer who entered the room noticed a bump over his right eye and a carpet burn on his face, the inquest heard.

I don't recall any street riots over it.

Here's another death involving a police presence that also DIDN'T result in a Big Telly and Branded Trainers Looting Fest at the Westfield Shopping Centre White City (or Stratford).

Here's a case of a BLIND man Tasered by the UK police (they thought his walking stick was a Samurai sword) but this disgraceful matter managed to pass by without a single 'protest' on the streets, and not a single pair of £150 Reeboks or £500 Plasma Tellys were looted from shops in Manchester or London.

I wonder why in both these cases no riots followed.

Whereas on the other hand, an incident thousands of miles away in America resulted in a completely ridiculous 'protest' at the London (White City) Westfield Shopping Centre. (Almost certainly the most ridiculous protest since the made-up 'Anti-Elitism' protest at the Boat Race a few years back).

Thankfully the police at White City wised up and clearly understood that this would all probably result in a 'mass-looting' protest as well. Happily many arrests were made, and the big tellys stayed in the shops.

Maybe the white population is a bit too apathetic. Your brothers would demonstrate with you if you only showed some sort of passion. But you have to show some dissatisfaction.
