Wednesday 13TH posted by Morning Star in Britain

A LEFT-WING candidate at the general election who received zero votes is challenging the count on the grounds that he voted for himself.
Trade Unionist and Socialist Coalition (Tusc) Rainham North candidate Paul Dennis was told he had no votes in the London constituency after they were counted on May 7.

Tusc said it will now petition Medway Council over the result. Mr Dennis says he should have got at least two votes as he claims that both he and his wife voted for him.

London constituency?

What's that got to  do with Medway Council?

Morning Star doesn't understand the difference between a General Election and a Local Council Election.  FiguresWink

Obvious isn't it...His was a spoilt paper and she voted for the rather attractive Tory former Mayor of Rainham.

Rainham, Kent or Rainham, Essex?
Report blackbarn May 15, 2015 12:57 AM BST
Medway District suggests Kent, imo.
Report spellingandgrammarchecker May 15, 2015 1:05 AM BST
London constituency suggests Essex, imo.

Even though neither of them are in London.

Spelling - you posted at 22.42 posing the London question. It's not difficult to get to the facts of the case from "Rainham North" and "Medway Council" both of which you quoted.  Now you've moved to EssexCrazy

Ignore the carnt blackarn I live in Rainham Kent  and work for Medway council of which there are three wards Rainham central north and South, and for his information Rainham Essex or wherever is not in London.

No I haven't, read the first post again.

I used to live in Rainhamm in Kent, in the 1970s.

The article states 'London constituency'.

Rainham in Essex probably comes under the name of a London borough, like Barking,
Dagenham, Ilford, and Romford  but none of them are actually in London.

Orsoncart

I never said Rainham was in London.
