cruising from page to page on the web, I came upon the game of 'Rock - Paper - Scissors'.

I have never played this game, and all things that required such a game of outcome in my youth, were decided by a good old fashioned coin toss.

I decided to further my already highly advanced education by looking up the R-P-S rules.

On the page was a reference to 'Ging-gang-walla' which is (apparently) a slang name for R-P-S in the south east of England. 

I haven't heard 'Ging-gang-walla' used for over 50 years.

The last time I heard it I was a young boy, and my dad and uncle, in the midst of a highly important decision, maybe of which pub to go, used to say 'We'll settle it with a game of 'Ging-gang-walla'

It sounded Indian to me, like char-wallah, punka-wallah,  etc.

If memory serves (and it generally does) I never once saw them play the game.

I'm just pleased to know what the f*ck they were on about over half a century ago.
