Been on it now for best part of three years and apart from when i was ill in Feb/March i have been religiously fasting two days a week.It really does work.Eat and drink what you like(more or less)for the other 5 days and have two days of restriction(600 cals per day max)I lost two stone initially and have only put a few pounds back on despite my love of real ale and cheese. If you are overweight give it a go..the two days of "fasting" become very easy to do after a few weeks and you will be astounded on how much better you will look and feel.
Is it possible to carry over the fasting days ? Say ,for instance 5yrs bingeing followed by 2yrs fasting. If so im 71.43% of the way to success without even trying.Bet theres a catch.

I have been cutting down on stuff, more seriously for a month or so. I'm eating fairly normal meals. I stopped eating cakes and biscuits about a year ago and now eat just a little chocolate. I have given up Indian meals. I used to have ca 2 per month. I went from 2 bowls of sugary cereal to one. Then I switched to porridge with water. I have cut down on beer from ca 15 pints per week down to ca 6. I have started walking more, I used to do a mile each lunchtime Mon-Fri plus normal travelling about. Now I do a daily walk after putting the S Health app on my phone. I walked 26 miles last week! I ride an exercise bike for 1 1/2 hours per week. I have also been using some dumb bell weights. My body shape is changing, though the weight loss has been very slow, though going in the right direction.

I have walked 185.85 miles since 6/3/15 and am ranked within the top 5.9% of S-health users and within the top 6.5% of my age group. This week, I have done 9533 (about 4.7 miles) a touch behind Oskari Penttinen, who has allegedly done 214,429 steps (ca. 104 miles)! I can only assume that he walks the full 8 hours whilst sleeping each night.

BTW if Oskari Penttinen has done 214,429 steps (ca. 100 miles). Is it possible to run/walk ca. 100 miles in 2 days? (This would take ca. 25 hours to walk)
